Disney Dream Stateroom Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah 7092

Disney Dream 7092, Deluxe Family Oceanview Statetroom

Selecting your stateroom on a Disney Cruise can be quite the task. Is the location good? Is it noisy? Are there any weird issues I might need to know about? And while you may not think it really matters, your deck, views and the proximity to amenities are more important than you think! So much so, that we’ve written a whole guide on how to choose your Disney Cruise Stateroom. And if you’re sailing on the Disney Dream, you’re in luck. Because after a recent sail we decided to share all the details, and a tour so you can get an idea of the rooms on the Dream, before you sail. Here we are sharing all about Disney Dream Stateroom 7092 on Deck 7 of the Disney Dream.

Disney Dream and Fantasy Deck Plans

Disney Dream Deck Plans

Whether or not this is the right location for you will vary widely based on what you prefer to do while onboard. For instance, if you want to be close to the pools, and quick service restaurants, aim for one of the higher decks, as Deck 11 is where all the action takes place. Want a room away from all the noise and chaos? Decks 7-9 are safe bets and only have staterooms. Or maybe you get sea sick and would rather one of the lowest decks, so you have less motion.

Whatever your preference, you can find the Disney Dream deck plans here. From there, you can see if this location will put you close to the things that are important for your trip. Disney Dream Stateroom 7092 is located on the port side, midship, which means you are really about halfway to both the upper decks and the atrium.

Disney Dream Staterooms

The Disney Dream Stateroom rooms are the standard, classic-style room that you’ll find on the original 4 Disney cruise ships. The rooms have small touches of Disney throughout, with a simple, nautical theme. And no matter which room you choose, you can always make things feel extra special with Disney Cruise Stateroom Door Decorations.

Disney Dream Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with verandah that sleeps 5.

Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah 7092

We booked this stateroom as a Guaranteed room during our 11-night Northern Europe cruise. Guaranteed staterooms don’t allow you to choose your room, but they can save you a ton of money. We thought this was a great room get assigned as a guaranteed room as it is pretty centrally located. This is a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with verandah in category 4B.

We love Deck 7 on the Dream Class ships because they are almost in the very middle of where you want to be. Deck 11 is where the pools, adult areas and quick service are. And Decks 3 and 4 is where you’ll be spending most of your time for activities like trivia, crafts and other planned fun.

Bed Options in room 7092 on the Disney Dream

A 4B category, this Disney Dream category stateroom can sleep 4-5 people. This room in particular sleeps 5 because it not only has an upper berth bed that pulls down from the ceiling, bit also a murphy bed that pulls down from the wall. In this room you’ll also find a queen size bed and a couch that converts into a twin bed.  These beds are super comfortable, and we always sleep like a dream when at sea.

View from the Verandah in Room 7092

Our view from this room was great! We had no obstructions, and though you can see the lifeboats when you look down, they’re not apparent when just looking out. We loved being able to see the ports at each stop, and it’s important to note that on many overseas cruises, there is not ” best” side.

When sailing in the Bahamas and Castaway Cay, many people argue that starboard is best because you get the view of the island. But in places like Europe, and even in Alaska, the side of the ship with the best side varies, as each port requires the ship to be docked different ways.

Disney Dream stateroom split bathroom layout

Bathrooms on the Disney Dream Room 7092

One unique feature on the Disney Cruise ships is the split bathrooms in most rooms. These bathrooms make it super easy for families to get ready, or just not have to worry about when someone needs to take a shower. They are split into two rooms. One with a toilet and sink. And one with a shower, tub and sink.  The bathrooms in this Disney Dream Stateroom are pretty standard to what you’ll see on the original 4 ships.

Disney Dream 7092 storage and desk area

Storage in room 7092

We mention this in most of our reviews, but generally, we tend to really like the amount of storage space you can find in the staterooms of the original four Disney ships. There is ample closet space, along with multiple drawers and cabinets to store your belongings while you sail.

The bed is also raised in these rooms, so you can easily store your luggage underneath for the duration of your sailing and keep it out of the way.

Would we recommend Room 7092 on the Disney Dream?

Yes we would! The location of the room is really in the middle of everything. The room is close enough to the midship stairwell and elevators that you don’t have to walk too far to get to them, but far enough away that you don’t have too worry too much about noise. The extra bed in the room is great for families or parties that need more space, or an extra bed. And if you don’t need the extra bed, it can stay nicely tucked away and offer more space in the room.
