Disney Dream and Fantasy Deck Plans

Disney Fantasy Deck Plans

The location of your room can be important for many reasons. Are you worried about seasickness? Midship and lower decks will be your best friend. Do you plan to spend all your time (and money) at Cove Cafe? Find a room on the upper decks. You can find the Disney Fantasy Deck Plans here. With this, you can see if the location of this room is right for you. Room 8094 on the Disney Fantasy is located midship, on the port side, or the left-hand side of the ship when facing forward.  This location was pretty quiet and we never had an issue with noise.

Since it’s midship, that means , it’s convenient to the midship stairs and elevators, making it easy to get from floor to floor. Deck 11 on the Disney Fantasy is where you’ll find a majority of the action, so being on Deck 8 keeps you pretty close to food, funnel vision, the fitness center, Cove Cafe, and the pools. Deck 8 is still a bit from the atrium and bars which are on Deck 3, but it’s just a few decks away from the Kids’ clubs without the chaos that is the vibe in Deck 5.

Disney Fantasy Staterooms

Disney Fantasy Cruise Rooms are pretty classic “Disney Cruise Line” style. One of the 4 original Disney Cruise ships, the rooms on the Disney Fantasy tend to have smaller Disney details, rather than a full art display above the bed like the newer ships. They are comfortable, cozy and nautical. There are a variety of Disney Fantasy Stateroom types to choose from. So they have a variety of rooms to accommodate different tastes and budgets. And no matter which room you choose, you can always make things feel extra special with Disney Cruise Stateroom Door Decorations.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with verandah on the Disney Fantasy 8094

We booked this room for a 4-night Bahamas cruise, which is just your standard sailing out of Port Canaveral. Having a verandah is always a ton of fun and this one was a good one! We didn’t have any issues with noise or any We loved waking up to new ports and being able to see them right from our balcony. This is a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with verandah in category 4B.

As a Deluxe Family stateroom, it is a little bit larger than a standard verandah stateroom, coming in at 299 square feet. See the full tour of 8094 on the Disney Fantasy here.

A Disney Fantasy Room that Sleeps 5- Room 8094

A 4B category stateroom on the Disney Fantasy can sleep 4-5 people. This room in particular sleeps 5 because it has a murphy bed that pulls down from the wall and an upper berth bed that pulls down from the ceiling. In this room you’ll also find a queen size bed and a couch that converts into a twin bed.  Not all 4Bs have the extra murphy bed, so if it’s something you need, it’s always important to make sure you book the right room so you have enough space.

All of the beds in this room were comfortable, and we had no complaints about any of them throughout our journey.

1/2 mile Pier at Disney's Lookout Cay to Lighthouse point. Expect this pier to take about 10-15 minutes to walk.

View from the Verandah in Room 8094 on the Disney Fantasy

The view from our balcony in this room was great. We had no obstructions, and the lifeboats are well enough below to stay out of view unless looking directly down. Since this room is port side, you won’t usually be on the side of the ship that faces Castaway Cay (occasionally they have to dock a different direction, so starboard side never actually guarantees a view of Castaway), but at Lookout Point, you will be facing the island.

I don’t really personally know that the view matters as much at Lookout, as you are literally looking at the pier. But in case you’re curious as to what you can see at each port, the view above is the view from port side.

Disney Fantasy split bathrooms. Disney stateroom 8094. Tub and shower on Disney cruise line

Bathrooms on the Disney Fantasy Room 8094

The bathrooms in this Disney Fantasy Stateroom are pretty standard to what you’ll see on the original 4 ships. Two rooms that create one “full” bathroom. So one room has a sink and toilet and one room has a shower, tub and sink. There is always a lot of chatter about this bathroom layout, but we love it. It makes it easy to get ready in an already tight space. And allows for families to be able to use multiple parts of the bathroom at the same time, i.e. someone can use the restroom while someone else is showering.

Storage in room 8094 on the Disney Fantasy

We are big fans of the storage space on the Disney Fantasy. With plenty of closet space, there are also multiple drawers and cabinets to be able to unpack your belongings while on your cruise.

Would we recommend Room 8094 on the Disney Fantasy?

Yes we would! We love this room for many reasons. The location is really convenient to the tops decks as well as the midship stairs and elevators. We didn’t notice any issues with noise. And we love the extra space and extra bed. It’s a great option for families who need or want a little extra space. If you’re looking for a stateroom on the Disney Fantasy that sleeps 5, this stateroom is in a great location.
