Disney Fantasy Deck Plans
The location of your room is important based on what you plan to do on the ship. For instance, if you want to be close to the pools, and quick service restaurants, aim for one of the higher decks, as Deck 11 is where all the action takes place. Want a room away from all the noise and chaos? Decks 7-9 are safe bets and only have staterooms. Or maybe you get sea sick and would rather one of the lowest decks, so you have less motion. Whatever your preference, you can find the Disney Fantasy Deck Plans here. And from there, you can see if the location of this room is right for you. Room 9110 on the Disney Fantasy is located aft, on the port side, or the left-hand side of the ship when facing forward. This location was pretty quiet and we never had an issue with noise.
Because it’s quite close to midship, it’s also really convenient to the midship stairs and elevators, making it easy to get from floor to floor. Deck 11 on the Disney Fantasy is where all the action is at, so being on Deck 9 keeps you close to Cabanas, the fitness center at Senses, Cove Cafe, the quick service food spots and the pools.

Disney Fantasy Staterooms
The rooms on the Disney Fantasy are pretty classic “Disney Cruise Line” style. They’re not overly flashy or modern, but they are comfortable, cozy and nautical. There are a variety of Disney Fantasy Stateroom types to choose from. So they have a variety of rooms to accommodate different tastes and budgets. And no matter which room you choose, you can always make things feel extra special with Disney Cruise Stateroom Door Decorations.
Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah on the Disney Fantasy 9110
We booked this room for a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise before the Disney Treasure took over that route. And absolutely loved having a verandah for this itinerary as the port stops were beautiful. Plus, waking up to new ports and being able to see them right from our balcony was such a treat. This is a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with one verandah in category 4A.
Since this is a Deluxe Family stateroom, it is a little bit larger than a standard verandah, coming in at 299 square feet. The room does feel spacious for a cruise stateroom, and we enjoyed the extra couple of feet.

Bed options in room 9110 on the Disney Fantasy
A 4A category stateroom on the Disney Fantasy can sleep 4-5 people. This room in particular sleeps 4 because it has an upper berth bed that pulls down from the ceiling. In this room you’ll also find a queen size bed and a couch that converts into a twin bed. Some 4A’s will have a murphy bed that pulls down from the wall. This one does not have that extra bed, so plan accordingly.
Both the queen bed and the couch bed were very comfortable, and exactly what we’ve come to expect with Disney Cruise Line!

View from the Verandah in Room 9110 on the Disney Fantasy
The view from our Disney Fantasy stateroom was wonderful! We didn’t have any obstructions, or things that took away from our view.
Bathrooms on the Disney Fantasy Room 9110
The bathrooms on Disney Cruise ships are often a talking point. The layout is quite unique and adds a touch of convenience to an otherwise small space. They are split into separate two rooms. One has a toilet and sink. And one has a shower, tub and sink. The bathrooms in this Disney Fantasy Stateroom are pretty standard to what you’ll see on the original 4 ships.

Storage in room 9110 on the Disney Fantasy
Storage space in rooms on the older Disney cruise ships tends to be pretty good! There are multiple dressers and drawers, as well as space in the closet. The Disney Fantasy offers this same convenience with plenty of storage space, making it easy to unpack your items during your journey. The queen bed is also raised, making it easy to store your suitcase underneath the bed.

Would we recommend Room 9110 on the Disney Fantasy?
Yes we would! The location of the room is almost midship, while technically being aft. This means you can get it at aft pricing, which tends to be slightly less than that of a midship room. And in reality, it’s about a few doors down from what is considered midship. It’s a great location that is convenient to the stairs and elevators in midship, while not being so close to them that you hear noise from other cruisers. This room was quiet and we never had any issues with noise. The room is just a couple decks down from the top, so you’re close to the pools and funnel vision, along with the restaurants found up there.
